"The property was nice. Unfortunately, there were several issues with maintenance. The shower handle fell off. One of the bathroom faucet handles leaked water leaving stains on the sink. One of the mattresses was sunken in. Clearly should have been replaced long ago. One of the reasons why I chose the hotel was for the hot tub which was ice cold. We were very disappointed"

"The staff was wonderful. The breakfast was an actual hot and fresh breakfast. Very quiet. Cannot hear activity from the hall or other rooms. One simple comment was that there were no towel bars. We stayed 2 nights and would have reused our towels but there was nowhere to hang them. Overall a good place at a decent price. "

"Room key was not working multiple times. No hot water for several hours. Th hotel is not well maintained. "

"Front desk was friendly. The room phone did not connect directly to front desk when I wanted to call. I had to dial 9, then the phone number. Front desk said they would send an engineer to fix the phone. They never did. Got charged 85 cents for a local call too. Room was clean and ok. Standing shower only, no tub. Bed comfortable. HVAC a bit noisy; setting it to automatic helped with that. Fridge was in the TV cabinet, a non obvious location. So non-obvious we only found it because hotel left a slip of paper by the tv to notify the guests, which we noticed on the morning after we checked in. So overall, a decent stay. Good location on top of the Ballston Metro stop, but not amazingly good. "

"Beautiful property with lovely scenery and amenities. Anything you need right there. We are very appreciative for such a great place to stay. "

"The room was clean and spacious, staff was friendly and helpful. Amenities were so-so. Parking was $40 a day per vehicle and there was no breakfast included. Convenient location to access events/conferences in DC. The person in the room next to us was screaming one of the nights we stayed so we phoned staff to voice concerns. Presumably they handled it because the person quieted down soon after. Gets the job done and was a pleasant stay!"

"The property is somewhat dated and does not have an elevator, which can be inconvenient for guests with large luggage. Breakfast is provided as a simple set including a bagel, fruit, and juice for each guest, with no hot food options available."
