"The room was very dirty - not just tired looking, as for this price my expectations were quite low but I wasn’t expecting it to be quite so dirty - walls in bathroom were splattered with god knows what, skirting boards caked in what looked like years old dust, hair in the shower, sheets were marked and stained. The room we had was made with what felt like paper thin walls and ceiling - we heard everything that was going on upstairs and across the hall. Would not stay here again unfortunately. "

"Absolutely no issues with my stay here, whilst travelling on business I spent an evening here, I have to say it was one of the friendliest locations I have stayed at, rooms were clean and quiet; great value for money, great breakfast, free parking on site. It has the added advantage of good food in a nice restaurant area and a nice separate friendly bar area. Walkable to the main area in the centre of town."

"Firstly they tried to charge me an extra £57 for my room. Until I pointed out that we had a receipt proving i had already paid in full. Secondly neither restaurant was open, so despite the website information, no evening meal was available. Thirdly there was no cooked breakfast, only continental. The room was OK, but strange rumbling and drilling noises from somewhere in the building kept me awake. Honestly it would be better if you closed totally for refurbishments, which i assume was going on from all the bits and bobs lying on the flat roof outside my room."

"We stayed for one night before an exhibition at Stoneleigh Park. It was really convenient for that venue. The room was comfortable, breakfast was amazing -and for £11 you got fruit, yogurt, cereals, pastries, and then the full cooked breakfast buffet. The food was fresh, well presented and lots of choice. I did notice a gluten free breakfast bar too. We ate in the evening - not a massive choice on the menu, but we found something we liked. The only downside for us was that the room was hot, but that might be perfect for others. Parking was easy, lovely grounds to walk round and lots of smaller, nook like areas to spend time in. We did not try the gym or other facilities as we arrived late and left early. Would come back again. "

"I recently stayed in Room 33 and unfortunately it was a very poor experience from start to finish. The main issue is the location of the room, which is completely unsuitable for guests. It is positioned directly next to the disabled toilets and only about a metre away from the reception office door. This resulted in constant noise throughout the entire stay. Every time the reception office door was opened or closed, it caused our room door to vibrate loudly. This happened repeatedly and made it impossible to relax. In addition, the disabled toilet next door is in frequent use, and we could clearly hear everything — flushing, doors slamming, and general use. The noise levels were excessive and completely unacceptable for a hotel room. After travelling for four hours, we were hoping for an early night, but instead we were kept awake until after midnight due to the constant banging and disturbance. The disruption continued into the early morning. Around 5am, we were woken again by staff changeover, as the room is directly behind reception. We could hear conversations clearly, along with ongoing movement and door noise. This meant our sleep was repeatedly interrupted, making the stay exhausting rather than restful. The room itself also lacks basic comfort. The windows are single-glazed, do not shut properly, and offer little to no sound insulation, which only adds to the overall noise problem. On arrival, we were also disappointed to find that no food was available until 5pm"
