"A lovely modern, clean and very comfortable apartments. 10 min walk from the station and a 5 min walk to the beach. The beds were very comfortable, rooms had great aircon and electric shutters to block out all light. Very stylish, clean, and spacious for a family of four. Would stay again and again - loved it!"

The plugs are far from dresser which is wierd. The staffare not helpful at all. The way to get to the hotel by train was a horrible experience pretty much the train station is deserted , i had to walk in the dark for half an hour ti get to civilation. "Traditional resort hotel, the Bella Riviera is very central in Viareggio, on the main beach road. As a solo traveller I usually have to tolerate a windowless room behind stairs, so I was delighted to be given a lovely room at the front with a balcony and a sea view. The daily cleaning kept the room and en-suite spotless, the breakfast was a varied buffet and the staff were friendly and helpful. My only complaint was the noisy air con. "
