"Lovely room with double bed and bunk beds (suitable for children), excellent breakfasts. Service was a little slow at Sunday dinner - I think they were short staffed. Otherwise, we had a very enjoyable stay. Parking is no problem."

"Really nice 3 star close to Lindisfarne. Perfect for judging the crossing times to the island and close enough by car to Berwick upon Tweed for a great choice of restaurants. Banburgh Castle is also close-by."

"The granary room was beautiful except that it was 30° during the day and so very hot. The unseasonably hot weather is hardly the owners fault, but perhaps some kind of fan system to bring in cooler air at night would be a good investment."

"Large room and bathroom. Looked a little tired but perfectly adequate. Mark (the owner) is lovely and friendly, really helpful. Superb breakfast, plenty of choice, quality products. Parking is on the street but we founded a space no pru."

"Quirky hotel with an interesting story in the centre of Alnwick. The staff are all lovely and make the customer feel very welcome. Check-in and out is straightforward. The Harry Potter themed rooms are very comfortable and quiet. Super clean bathroom with a great shower and nice toiletries. Great breakfast including full English or continental options. No parking facilities at the hotel but plenty of free 24hrs public car parks within a few minutes’ walk. Would highly recommend!"
