"The Mahoning Inn has you sign a form stating that you will not smoke in the room or $150 fee will be charged, which is fine because we don’t smoke but the room they gave us smelled heavily of cigarette smoke. I refused the room due to the heavy cigarette smell and they gave me a different room that did not have a cigarette odor, but still had a very musty smell. The bathroom is extremely outdated and shabby looking. There were several thick long dark hairs on the inside of the shower curtain,...

"toilet was too low"

"2 room was so nasty they we changed 3 rooms to find clean rooms"

"I wasn’t sure what to expect from a refurbished YMCA. This place blew me away. We had a beautiful king bedroom with a sitting area overlooking the main street. The room was huge. The bathroom, with double sinks, great shower and bathrobes, were a huge plus. Jim Thorpe is a great little town. The biggest complaint I hear is the lack of parking. No problem, when staying at the Y, off-street parking is provided! The Y on Broadway is centrally located and walkable to just about everything Jim...

"The only thing I missed was an overhead light in the room. Only 3 table lamps were around the room but they weren't as bright as an overhead light. Overall, it was good and I would stay there again."

"The bathroom need a little upgraded. But it was ok I was able to managed"

"Great location right in the downtown and walking distance from anywhere"

"Beautiful property! Fall colors were incredible. Room was clean, comfortable, spacious and we really enjoyed the fireplace. Included breakfast was delicious and everyone was friendly and helpful."

"We absolutely loved our stay at The Belle Victoria! It’s a charming B&B that is quiet, clean, and cozy, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home. Our hostess, Naomi, was wonderful and very attentive, always making sure everything was just right. You can tell she genuinely cares about her guests and takes pride in making everyone feel welcome. Breakfast is homemade and prepared fresh on the spot. It was absolutely delicious and a wonderful way to start the day! The...

"The price was reasonable! The hotel was clean. The pool and the jacuzzi were up and running. The jets were working!! Our room was clean. No issues with the room keys! Clean towels were supplied without question. Tv worked. Netflix was free. I didn’t enjoy the breakfast at the hotel, but I do know from past experience that it is a very nice sit down hot breakfast. Made to order, not the fake scrambled eggs and dry bagels you get at other establishments. All staff were very friendly and checked...

"Nice place to stay"

"Extremely run down and dirty. Peeling paint bathroom ceiling, moldy shower, terrible breakfast. Frozen cold pancakes and frozen sausage. Towels smelled like mildew. No heat and inn keeper even said they didn’t have the heat serviced.. do not come here!"
