"Everything was great. An older, well maintained property. The room was clean and comfortable and the bath towels were nice and fluffy. Good coffee and bagels, as well as other breakfast food. It's difficult to describe the ambience of the place, but you feel welcome there. The common room where breakfast was served had a very homey feel, unlike most hotels. We were there off season and I imagine it's really bustling once the snow flies. Highly recommended for those who enjoy hostel style accommodations (and those who don't would probably enjoy it also)."

"The staff was wonderfull. The room was clean but we were on the bottom floor so it was a little noisy above us with people walking around most of the night. Breakfast was delicious."

"This was a great spot! Very clean. The 25 person hot tub was incredible, with a view of the mountains while you soaked. Definitely will be going back!"

"My sister and I needed a very last minute place to stay after our VRBO rental was not what we thought. The ladies at the front desk were really nice and very help. The beds and pillows were very comfortable and the room was very clean. The only issue is the area, it’s a bit of a drive if you want to shop however, one minute up the road is Murdoch’s restaurant and they had delicious food. We ate there twice. Just make sure to make a reservation. All in all it was a nice stay and we definitely suggest staying there."

"Great place and great location...walkable to much of Manchester. Only suggestion is to improve WiFi. I was in the Victoria house and I couldn't access the WiFi. But that is minor--overall very happy with The Palmer House."
