"We ended up staying in a different property to the one listed and the one we stayed in was perfect for the family. Lots of room, lovely and clean and well located. We were doing the Humpridge track and there was no one staying in-between us, so the owners allowed us to keep our bags there until we returned, which was fabulous. Great place to locate for the Humpridge. Highly recommended."

"What an amazing experience - one of the best stays I have had ever. So much attention to detail and the most welcoming and accommodating hosts. Dinner was delicious (I am vegan and they were very accommodating). Every moment we we were there was absolute perfection. "This is a unique little house where considerable thought has been put into every detail. The rooms are small but charming. Staying in Manapouri is a great way to avoid the tourist throng in Te Anau and it’s only a 15-minute drive away. Comfy beds, very quiet location. Our only problem was the lock box: two sources had different codes and we were trying what must be the old code; once we discovered the second code, all went swimmingly. Nice, too, to have 2 pm checkin and 11 am checkout. Highly recommended!"

"The place is lovely. We arrived late and immediately put on the fire place. It feels like an old, loved home. It was clean and simple. Every room in the house was charming. The lake just moments away is just beautiful. Thank you."
