"We got off to a rocky start. The first cottage we were in had water damage and had a musty moldy smell. We reached out to the front desk and they were able to move us to a different cottage. The second cottage was more than adequate clean and very quiet. Even with the luau going on it was still quiet. Beach access was accessible and very close. The pools areas were very clean and very nicely kept. The tiki bar left a little bit to be desired with food choices and pricing. Breakfast was okay could have been better and was overpriced. Lots of better options in town in kapaa. We would stay there again if the opportunity arose. Parking was wonderful being right outside the cottage. I will say that photos online are not exact so please be weary if you're looking for exactly what you paid for."

"It is close to but not on the beach. There is a path to walk to the beach. The Coconut Marketplace is right next door with stores and restaurants. The full kitchen was excellent. The pool and spa were great. Parking was close to our unit. There is one flight of stairs to carry your things up ifre you aon the 2nd floor. The resort was just what we needed for 2 nights."

"We had the unfortunate timing of being on Kauai during the approach and arrival of hurricane Lowell on Kauai. The staff of this property really made it stand out to us. We were scheduled to go elsewhere during the night the hurricane arrived but one of the staff members (Leidel) suggested we stay another night here due to it location on higher ground and our next property being in an expected storm surge flooding area. Leidel went out of her way to notify us as soon as there was a cancellation that opened a room for us to extend our stay the additional night. Although the storm was very severe, we were safe at this property and had no damage to our rental car. The other property we were going to did have storm surge and fallen limbs that would have destroyed our rental car. Thanks to the concerned staff and their knowledge of how storms affect the island, we were able to remain safe rather than dealing with damage during our visit."

"Très bien situé pour l'accès à tous les attraits, services et activités. L'appartement est super confortable avec tous les nécessaires dont ceux pour la plage. (boggie bord, chaises, parasol, glacière) En octobre 2026, le seul petit inconvénient ce sont les restes de débris sur la plage à côté du complexe (ouragan). La vue sur la mer et la terrasse invitent à la détente, wow!!!"

"Everything about the condo is top-notch and built for comfort. The views, the trade winds blowing through the condo, and listening to the waves crashing, was everything we wanted, and more. Quality furniture throughout, very nicely appointed kitchen with everything you’ll need right at your finger tips.A nice walking/bike trail right outside the door, and an easy ten minute stroll to a calm swimming hole at Lyndgate Beach with an abundance of colorful fish. A little further north, enjoy a plethora of shops and restaurants. So much, so close. We took a trip up north to Princeville, glad we did it, but wasn’t really anything there and the traffic was terrible. We took a little trip to Poipu Beach in the south, and it was cute, but really nothing beat the beach right at our doorstep. You literally don’t have to leave.We did check out some water falls that were about 15/20 minutes away, worth the drive. Simon is an amazing host, and a wealth of knowledge. Will definitely plan on returning again. Highly recommend the island, and especially this condo and host!"

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I had a good visit at the Kuhio Prince in Poipu. Nice property and the unit was as described. I requested a move after hurricane Lowell because I had been without power 2.5 days and inquired if there might be a unit on another part of the island where power might be restored quicker. My request was accommodated to Kaha Lani on the east side of the island. This unit had great access to the ocean and Lydgate Park. This unit could use some updating - rust on ceiling fans, mold in the shower, and could use a thorough cleaning of windows."
