"I booked our room through Expedia and specifically chose the accessible room with a roll in shower but upon check-in, was offered a shower chair instead. My wife is pregnant so that was supposed to be a non-negotiable but they didn’t actually have that type available, apparently. Also, they are doing major renovations and blocked off a big part of the lobby. The route to the elevator is super weird and dark. The big iconic waterfall part of the pool was closed off too. The pools were really nice and maintained well but they closed the slide early. I think hotels should be required to disclose that they have ongoing renovations underway while booking. It was a nice location and overall nice stay but I wouldn’t stay there again. Thank goodness our room was nice and clean and right by the elevator."

"Clean and great price"

"The room met all of our expectations and then some. We were welcomed with a treat and drinks, there were flowers everywhere and we had our own private garden area. The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed and the room was quiet and romantic. We used the kayaks and bikes provided on the property as well. It was fantastic!"

"Lovely staff and lovely location, some of the outdoor fixtures and furniture were a bit worn, and the TV was near impossible to use, but overall had a good time. My only reason for dropping down 2 stars is because the first room we were assigned to, still had people checked in. Thank goodness they were not in the room when we entered!! The second reason is because we had a 'Do Not Disturb' sign hanging off our door, but someone (assuming housekeeping) came in and promptly left. We were checking out that day, but it was still 1.5 hours before checkout time. You'd think you'd want to knock just to be sure the guests have left for privacy purposes. Another hiccup was that guests are given a parking pass. The individual checking us in forgot, and I had to go back and ask (this was my third time at the counter in under 15-20min). First was to check in, the second to notify them that the room was in use (and promptly received the new one), and the third was to ask for the parking pass (after they asked me on the second visit if I had one, and said they'd give me one). I am not upset by the interaction and oversight whatsoever and had a great time! But I still feel these things should be mentioned so folks can make their own informed decision. Oh! I also didn't see any elevators. Had to take luggage up 3 flights of stairs to our room, got my much needed workout in after all the yummy food. But I may have just missed them. I would double check and call if this is important to you :)"

"This home was absolutely perfect for our stay! Even better than the pictures showed- beautifully decorated with high end products like Pottery Barn, Tommy Bahama, and Dyson. This unit had the most well stocked kitchen I’ve ever seen in vacation rental! I really couldn’t have asked for a better appointed kitchen to cook anything we needed to. The unit was very clean, so comfortable, and just perfect for us. Absolutely incredible view that the pictures barely captured!! The location was convenient to all of the stores, excursions, and shops we wanted to visit. We were able to walk to the beach and next door to play frisbee golf. My only complaint was there was no way to lock or bolt the front door- ZERO lock on the handle or inside. This was honestly shocking considering how thoughtful the rest of the condo was done. The only thing keeping people from walking in was a key pad on the outside of the door. Please bring along your own locking mechanism from Amazon because this is not safe- in fact after we checked in and were getting settled a woman walked right in the front door and into the kitchen to look at a few things, which scared my kids and me (there was no knock or anything that was said), so we kept a chair wedged up against the door when we were home. Everything else was perfect and I would love to stay here again, but it is very shocking to me that there is no lock on the inside of the door! "

"We had a wonderful stay at this oceanfront condo. The view was absolutely amazing, and we loved watching the surfers each day from the lanai—it was such a relaxing way to start and end our days. The kitchen was well-equipped, making it easy to prepare meals, and we found everything we needed during our stay. The owner was very responsive, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. We would happily stay here again."

"We enjoyed staying at this condo. It had a southern view of the Wailua Bay area and was a great location for splitting up day visits to the northern and the southern parts of the island. My wife has limited mobility and this condo worked well for us. It will not work for someone that is constrained to a wheelchair but for someone that can walk some, it works well. The condo is on the 1st floor and has 2 steps to get up to the main walkway and then 3 steps to get up to the condo itself. There was an accessible parking spot just outside the condo door so the walk to the condo was only about 40 feet away from the car. The shower does not have a grab bar, but it does have a corner seat at the back. Unfortunately, the entrance to the shower is in the back and it does not have a door so you cannot tilt the spray head to reach you if you need to be seated for your shower. Tilting the head would allow water to soak outside the shower area and onto the bathroom floor. Otherwise, the shower is nicely done.The condo had a buggy board, snorkel equipment, beach chairs, float noodles etc. I wish I had found the binoculars before our last day. Furniture was comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils, plates, bowls, etc. The condo is adjacent to the pool for easy access. We heard limited or no noise from neighbors in the other condo units or entering the pool area and shared the lanai with just a few of the chickens found on the island."
