"Perfectly acceptable no-contact lodgings for the price, with the benefit of walkability to central Oxford (if you're a good walker). The management was accessible by phone. The procedure for accessing the building and the room (once you are present on the site of the hotel) was clear. "Cheapest place to stay in Oxford, I only really needed a hotel to get ready in and sleep. The initial room they tried to give us was in a different building, and it was literally just a bedroom in someone’s grotty house - stank of smoke and not safe! Do not book the room with the shared bathroom. The room we moved to was acceptable given the cost (albeit incredibly dated and dirty), but that is about it."

"Good location, not too close from city center (about a 40 minute walk), but still close to smaller shops and restaurants. Room was on the smaller side but it was very clean. Very simple breakfast provided which consisted of cereal, juice/tea/coffee and yogurt cups, nothing fancy but enough to get the day started. Check-in is a little different since you have to call a number to have access to the front door. Still a lovely stay."
