"Paid $85. Was a bit more than what it offered for a budget hotel. The room is clean, beds comfortable. The shower doesn’t have much pressure and they stated they have breakfast, but a party of 3 they would only give us one paper bag with a banana and small frozen muffin. This is a passing by budget hotel."

"Quaint little boutique hotel. Bed comfortable, good shower, quiet. When I arrived there was no staff there. They left a key on the counter with instructions. Front door stays open night and day which is highly unusual. Quiet town so I wasn’t too worried. Good dead bolt on bedroom door so felt safe."

"Beautiful cottage by the water; Has water right outside of the door step (its not the first property on the water, but given its on the corner, it has unobstructed view to water and you can walk 20 yards to get to water). Beautiful cozy property- very well kept. Gives you the feeling on an English cottage to an extent. All basic amenities provided (including paid cable, netflix, amazon!). Very calm and quiet neighborhood; Beach is not as big; but if you are coming just husband and wife, nothing like it. You can fish from the boat ramp (it extends fairly deep into ocean)"
Waterfront Oasis in Middle of Virginia Eastern Shore Bayside w/pier

"We had a great time fishing and exploring the Eastern Shore and Virginia Beach. The cabin was beautiful and secluded. We really enjoyed sitting on the dock and fishing every evening. There were plenty of deer, bunnies, birds, and crabs to keep us company. Our dog loved playing frisbee and taking walks in the evening. There are lots of fun things to do in the area if you love the outdoors. If you don't mind a little longer drive, Virginia Beach is a great day trip with lots of nice beaches."

"This place is as advertised and very special. It's basic and the limits with the solar/water, etc. are real. But it all adds up to a really rustic feel and is quite comfortable if you understand what you're signing up for. It felt like a true get away. Lovely atmosphere and it felt like we were much farther away from civilization than we actually were."

"Small town and friendly, if you're looking for clean and quaint this is the place. If you need to be entertained, then this is not the place for you. But I plan many of my trips going out of my way just to go here and recharge... my soul, not a car."

"The house was great for our fishing and touring visit. Plenty of space, well maintained and plenty of amenities. Wachapreague is a nice little town full of friendly people."
