"We stayed in the cottage for a week during July. We were lucky enough to have beautiful summer weather and enjoyed sitting out early morning and late afternoon in the quiet garden listening to the birds chirping. The cottage has a well-equipped kitchen and two bathrooms and showers (one upstairs and one downstairs). The stairs to the bedrooms are a bit steep and may be challenging for an older person. "The Hoxton is next to the Botanic Gardens, with a 20 minute walk into central Brussels and the tourist areas. Just scored down slightly for the lack of storage space for a stay of a few nights, but the roomy rooms are roomy! If the weather is good, make sure you book the roof terrace bar a few days in advance."

Couples Ghent Holiday

"A couples holiday in Ghent. This hotel is very well placed in the city, near all main sites and tram stations. Hotel staff were friendly and courteous. Breakfast is great in a nice large room with a view onto the street. Good for people watching. We'd recommend staying here. "
