"When we arrived, the only sign on the door was in Flemish. After using google translate, we tried all 3 bells as instructed but got no answer. We had to look up on Expedia to find the telephone number. The owner answered, and said a neighbour would be along shortly to let us in. He hung up on me whilst i was asking about the promised parking. The neighbour was pleasant but spoke only Flemish- i speak English, French, German, italian and Danish- so communication was hard. "First up I’m fussy and never leave reviews unless the experience was exceptional. And this was. Thomas was the perfect host and the property was perfect. Thomas greeted us, made a dinner reservation for us and provided a wonderful breakfast. He helped to get our European roadtrip off to a lovely start. We will return. "

The hosts were so friendly and accommodating, the tapas tasting menu on the weekends prepared by their son was beyond delicious and breakfasts with Patrick started the day off perfectly.
