Wildlife is very active (monkeys, birds, geckos, iguanas, scarlet macaws, butterfly’s, frogs etc). I always felt safe on the property and would recommend the largest suit to anyone who wants more privacy and quiet since the other rooms you can hear everything within the hotel. There are 3 beautiful beaches between 5-12min driving distance from the hotel. The staff recommends Playa Ventanas but I would recommend Playa Piñuelas apart of the Marino Bellena National Park. Very quiet beach that’s easier to swim or body board at. "

"Everything about our stay at Tropical Beach was excellent. We arrived late due to a delayed flight and they made arrangements for us to park and receive our key after hours. The room was spotless and had everything we needed. The staff was friendly and helpful and went out of their way to help us with anything we needed. The pool was a nice respite from the heat and humidity and the restaurant on site was delicious. All that and it was affordable, comfortable, and, yes, they have hot water (I know this is an issue at some other places). We truly enjoyed our stay. "
