"Everything about Darlene's place was PERFECT for my husband and I! We enjoyed everything about her beautiful home in Rio Verde! When we arrived we found the place immaculately clean- top to bottom. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with all of the dishes, utensils and appliances one would ever need. We enjoyed using the gas grill on the pretty outdoor patio where we ate meals, watched the birds and felt the sunshine-RIGHT ON the golf course!! Watch out for flying golf balls ;) ! The location of her place couldn't have been more convenient as we could walk just a few minutes to the pool, community/fitness center, tennis and pickleball courts, post office and the lovely General Store. If we had any questions, Darlene was just a quick text away and was always very responsive. We would surely rent this property again! Loved it!"

"It felt like we may have been the first guests. Advertised as a golf rental but we didn’t have access to the golf course there (members only). No BBQ utensils, knife sets, and other misc items. We bought pool towels, spoons, Kuerig coffee maker and hangers. We are easy-going and were fine until we got a notification from the insurance company that the owners submitted claims for almost $3,000 in damages. My wife and I are in our mid 60’s and have owned two VRBO vacation rentals ourselves for 8 years. You couldn’t find guests that would take better care of a home. The list of damages included a chipped glass table in the living room (absolutely false) and damage to some old nightstands in the guest room. There was a bike in the garage that we moved out of the way. We wouldn’t have ridden it anyway but it had a flat tire. The owners even submitted a claim for a tire puncture and bike chain repair. The mandatory insurance we had to buy was a condition of the rental. All I can figure is that their “business plan” is to earn additional income from bogus insurance claims. I will say that the resort neighborhood is wonderful. We even purchased a home here while on the trip. I only take 3 stars for the location of this particular home because the back yard is tiny and looks at a 6’ block wall along a busy street."

"We stayed here during our vacation to the area and Spring Training. It was perfect. We wanted someplace away from the hustle and bustle of the city but close enough to take advantage of the offerings of the area and we found it. The house had plenty of elbow room for our family to stretch out. We had a family of 5 which this house more than supported. There were ample bathrooms with ample linens. We took advantage of the washer and dryer while we were there. The house was comfortable. There were plenty of pillows and blankets in all the bedrooms. The office was perfect. Two of the family members had to work and this worked out perfectly and there were no issues with the internet connection at all. The view was more than could be asked for and none of the pictures we took could do it justice. It was serene and relaxing! We loved every minute there and we will be returning next year when we return for Spring Training."

It was one of the best stocked kitchen’s I’ve ever been to, the bed was extremely comfortable and the location was amazing. Stacey was very easy to work with and answered all questions in a timely manner. I would definitely recommend this house and Rio Verde for a great winter getaway."

"Wonderfull, modern 2 BR condo with unbelievable views of the mountains and desert landscape out the front. Nice sized rooms. We don't gulf but was in a beautiful gulf community. There's even a golf cart in the garage for our use."
