"Charming place in the Tuscan hills near Saturnia. We stayed a a family of four and found it convenient for days trips to various locations in the area. The host was lovely and friendly to our whole family. "
"If Mario is cooking then you know you’re in for a treat. Everyone was amazing to interact with and more than welcoming throughout the stay. The rooms were clean and spacious, the pool was warm, the staff were amazing and the food was some of these we had on our trip. Mario made us a dinner from scratch and it was much more than expected. Very quiet and relaxing area that has beautiful scenery in every direction.
Mario set the bar extremely high for what we expected in the rest of the trip. We...
"Positives: We had the best available cottage, located at the very back of the grounds. Since it was September, the location was quiet. It would be noisy during season since it is directly across the street from the stage and playground. The cottage was comfortable and had all of the necessary basics in the kitchen. Negatives: parking is at the other far end of the campground. We were told that we could come through the gates and park at the cottage at 16:00. However, they came banging on...
"Accueil chaleureux dans un cadre exceptionnel, la vue sur la campagne toscane et le village de Capalbio est ressourçante. Les petits déjeuners sur la terrasse sous le voile d'ombrage en compagnie du chien Zeno sont un bon moyen de débuter la journée d'autant que les produits proposés sont sains et délicieux.
Une adresse à recommander pour un séjour relaxant et dépaysant. "

Pool Villa Angela Whirlpool, Manciano Terme, Italy

"Villa Angelina, Manciano, Italy Stayed for a week at the villa. Overall it was a good week, it’s a very rural location, and it has a fabulous swimming pool. The main floor of the house is nice and spacious. The kitchen is a little rough but not too bad. It does have air conditioning. But it wasn’t to American standards of air conditioning. However, the house is not four bedrooms as advertised. Rather it is a two bedroom house with a separate annex that has two more bedrooms and two more 3/4 bathrooms. There is also an old couple who live on the far side of this annex. They claim this couple is a caretaker for the property, but we never saw them do any caretaking. We hardly saw them at all. But it was still weird that they were there. As mentioned the location is rural, so perhaps it’s understandable, but we had a large problem with wasps around the annex and in the pool umbrellas. They tried to help us and brought wasp spray. But it was bad enough that our kids refused to sleep in the annex the last two nights we were there and slept on the living room sofas instead. There are also 5 outdoor cats roaming around and trying to get in the house. If it was an option, I’d probably give 3.5 stars. Things were very disorganized, which was partly my fault, I don’t speak Italian and I’m sure that contributed, but it would have been nice to have an instruction manual or something with the house. For example the windows and doors have built in screens that nobody told us about"
"My stay at this BNB was wonderful! Rosy is an excellent host. She’s is extremely knowledgeable and super helpful. She made sure that my stay was all I was looking for it to be. On request she arranged a horseback ride outing and an in-room massage. In the morning she had breakfast ready, which is also tailor made to my dietary needs. The suite was very well lite with a nice size kitchen and well appointed bathroom. The bed was extremely comfortable and overall very clean room. The grounds are well kept up. I didn’t go in the pool as the temps were very low. There are horses grazing on the neighboring properties; beautiful natural landscape. Overall it was a relaxing low key weekend spent in nature and tranquility. The BNB is 20 min from the famous Cascate del Mulino thermal baths and the Terme di Saturnia Hot Springs resort. I highly recommend staying at Rosy’s place and plan to do so the next time I’m in Italy. "
