"It was an amazing property with a lot of character. It certainly had the country charm and warmth in it. If that’s what you are looking for, you will not go wrong. The host and owner Gregoire was very friendly and gave us some helpful tips that we used for our one day French Riviera tour. The property can use some upgrades especially the flooring and temperature control. All in all we had a great time and would highly recommend it. "

"Enjoyed our second stay at this quaint hotel. The proprietor went out of his way to ensure all of our needs were met. The hotel like many in the area of a certain age, has no air conditioning but we were comfortable at night with a fan. Our room boasted a little terrace and while simple the bed was comfortable and the ironed sheets a treat. Breakfast consisted of coffee, croissants, and juice. The flakey chocolate croissant will be missed. A glimpse of yester year at this historic charmer."

The hotel is surrounded by the most beautiful gardens and the interior of the hotel has an eclectic mix of furniture and is artistically decorated in an old school French manner. "Friendly and welcoming reception, personalized service / went the extra mile to go and purchase goats milk etc, lots of conversation about things to do. Happy to lend plenty of literature about things to do and see. Fresh traditional French breakfast. Thoroughly recommended. You need a car to get around, as the gite is quite remote from Nice etc!"
