The location is phenomenal and in the heart of everything. It was surprisingly quiet given that you are located in a busy area with access to restaurants, etc. The court yard had a lot of charm. "We loved being so close to everything, yet just barely enough removed from where all the traffic was ~ 1/2 block away. It is a wonderful location and very quiet. The terrace made the space seem even bigger, too. When it wasn’t raining, we got to enjoy the outdoor space. "We loved most everything -- especially the location -- and we lacked for nothing in the apartment. Plus, the staff were excellent. The 2 big issues were 1) We weren't made aware, by the listing, that one has to walk up/down about 70 (old and creaky) steps every time one wants to go into town, or get a baguette, or find a place to eat (ie at least 3 or 4 times a day). And 2) The bed was far too small for someone 6 feet tall, and the board at the head was brutally hard."

"The place was very dirty and there was an ant infestation as well. The check in process was a nightmare as the management company left everything about check in until the very last minute, and provided an out of service number at the time of booking, where they could not be reached. I had to escalate this issue with no resolution. I complained to them about various issues upon arrival and got no response until the night before my departure. Extremely unprofessional and disgusting place to stay....

Note that "reception 24/24 and 7/7" means that you can set whatever time you want to check in but you must let them know what time you will be there to meet them. They aren't there 24/7 like a hotel."

"This is a very nice apartment for a couple in a great neighborhood. Everything worked out quite well. The host was great and the check-in was smooth, two very important items. My few, small, criticisms are that the shower drained slowly and the kitchen garbage can was not in working order. These are indeed small items but, for a short stay in a small flat, it is important to be sure that everything is in good working order. This is the reason for 4 stars rather than 5 stars."
