"As a group of 8 university students we stayed at the cottage for 8 nights. The cottage has everything you could need to make the visit all the more enjoyable and relaxing. From bed linen to kitchen utensils, we never once felt like we were missing something. The beds have a sponge mattress which isn't always to everyone's liking although following a long day of climbing, being able to just sink into that pillow is all the more comforting. "The accommodations here were very comfortable and clean with a well equipped kitchen for a rental. The owner was very pleasant and addressed any concerns we had very promptly. They also had a very cute and friendly dog that visited us outside for our morning coffee. Only thing that was not excellent was the refrigerator. It had a musty smell and leaked water from the freezer into our food. It was all that we needed for our short stay."

The fragrant linden tree was in flower, and the red current bushes were full of edible berries. We had access to trail bikes, which we used to explore the countryside.
