"The property was great for us. The hotel is well looked after. Our room was a good size and very nice. The lobby/reception area was very nice. We sat there a couple nights after dinner and enjoyed a nice glass of wine with a few other guests. Also a very nice pool area if you’re there in the warmer weather. Maria was very helpful and booked us a wine tasting and a river cruise. I would highly recommend this hotel. I would definitely stay there again. "

"Fantastic place to stay, with a wonderful view over the Duoro River from our room and the dining and sitting rooms. Attentive and friendly waitstaff at dinner (suggested wines to pair with each course) and breakfasts. Hiked up the hill to even better views on their vineyard roads, drove to Pinhão for the 2-hr boat cruise to Tua, a Miradouro and wine tasting above Pinhão, also close to Sandeman’s Quinta do Seixo for old tawny tasting and to Quinta do Tedo for Bistro Terrace dinner."
