Our only issue (and really it wasn’t an issue,was just an inconvenience) was that they are working on the front entrance so my husband had to drop me off so I could go in and ask where to park. "Friendly, welcoming staff; breakfast was basic, but good. Convenient location to catch free bus 3 or 33 to the local sites, main town strip, Pikes Peak Cog Rail station, Garden of the Gods. A few eating places easily in walking distance or more reachable via the free buses 3 or 33. We didn’t try the outdoor pool, but saw a few people enjoying it. One thing that we would have desired, but was not available, would be permission to use the breakfast seating area to socialize and play cards or other games during the evenings."

"This is an older establishment, but it adds to the charm. The inside of the rooms have been redone to make it more modern. It's a very convenient area to the Garden of the Gods. They had music each night we stayed which was nice. The outside looks a little rough, but just reserve your opinion until after you open the door. The staff was super nice and accommodating. We would definitely come back."
