Loved the history of the town and the hotel. The rooms are good sized and full of character. The exposed brick and radiators lend authenticity to the rooms. Loved the old elevator and bank vault. It’s nice to see those parts of history remain.

Old historic hotel with updated rooms. Room was very clean, staff was helpful and pleasant. So much to do near here, so we didn't spend much time in the room. I will stay here again next time in the area.

The property was beautiful and very historic. The room was nicely decorated. Had a ceiling fan, but the air was pre-set and the room got warm. Check in was virtual and assistance was virtual. I prefer face to face contact. The bar and restaurant listed were not open during our stay at all. We stayed two days and one day probably would have been better. I guess we were out of season and most of the shops were all closed. There was a bar next door where we could get food and beverage.

We enjoyed our stay at the hotel. Very historic vibes and the elevator was definitely interesting. We were bummed about not having accommodations for coffee in our room. i.e coffee, coffee mugs, creamer and sugar. We had to come down for coffee and a slightly limited breakfast menu. But overall, a pretty decent stay.

The room was super nice and clean. The self check in was very nice as well. There was an issue with getting food after 9 pm though you have to go to the next town over and eat at the casino since the town is so small. Super cute town though very very peaceful.

It is a unique experience. Room had character. Not your run of the mill hotel chain. Elevator was installed in 1900 when the town burned down and the hotel rebuilt. The shower in the claw bath tub was a trip. All of the people were extremely friendly. Although limited, the food was good at the bakery and the bar next door. We enjoyed our two night stay.

Unique property with definite charm and mountain locale but unfortunately our room was extremely dirty. Very dusty, hair all over sheets and in the bathroom, towels did not smell clean/fresh and dirty sink. We really liked the digital check in as that can be convenient. Was still an enjoyable stay regardless. Property was quiet.

The historic property was beautiful. Unfortunately, they have very little staff on site. The first room were assigned, the dirty bedding and towels were on the floor. They switched us to another room that was plenty big, just not kept in tip top condition. Sheets and towels were yellowed and stained. Cleaning was not as good as it could have been. All communication was by text and phone to someone with a Nevada location. Restaurant was closed. No coffee in the lobby. Small pot was in the room. Our mistake was coming on a Monday and Tuesday. The whole town of Victor was just about closed down. We had to drive to Cripple Creek for restaurants, shops, etc.

What a great place to visit. Only seven minute drive to Cripple creek Casinos. Very clean and comfortable, great communication with the staff. I would recommend highly for a wonderful place to get away too.
