"The room was very clean, staff was very friendly and helpful. Stayed 2 nights, nothing was replenished ( coffee. Notions , cups). Breakfast was fabulous. We did not use the pool, so cant talk about it. Very close to national park and mall and historic Vicksburg. "

"Desk staff person was not easily approachable; the security guard in the front desk area was distracting. The next morning the same desk staff person seemed to be in a better mood talking on the phone while I checked out. When we got to our room down a Long hallway the room door was open and the room had basic old furniture. We sleep in our clothes for a quick exit if needed because of the other guests we saw outside in the parking area around the front door and down the Long hallway."

"The Baer House exceeded our expectations. It was furnished with so many unique 1800’s pieces. The breakfast was delicious. Latonya was a wonderful hostess. She was kind, friendly and knowledgeable about the house and the furnishings."

"Room was very clean but had a funny smell. Parking was easy and location was great to walk downtown. Pool area was locked so we didn’t explore it. There’s plenty of green space outside hotel for dogs and quiet walking streets. Guests ring a bell for staff and they are very friendly."

If stairs are an ussue, just be sure to book your room on the first floor and enjoy.this historical site of General Ulysses S. Grant's Head Quarters. Cedar Grive is a nansion and a monument to its founders the Klein Family, and its current ownership. The polite and professional staff is also well informed about the history of the area, and there is even fine dining as well as a full bar. Everything is priced fairly for those fortunate enough to find Cedar Grove. WOW Jerry "
