"The room was too hot"

"Cleaning has gone downhill . I found 4 dead bed bugs in my bed … when I got out of bed April 28 , 2026 in room 330. Carpets need cleaning……. Vacuuming needs to be done on a daily basis. I was ‘ supposedly’ in a DELUXE room … which I paid EXTRA for … the windows … hadn’t been cleaned in quite awhile . Numerous fingerprints . Despite the fact that I have been a loyal guest …. Over many years ….i will be staying at The Grand in the future."

"The location is great and the room is cozy and clean. We had an issue with our tv and they quickly gave us the option to move rooms, which we did. My only dislikes were the window between the bathroom and the room, instead of a wall. They do have a blind but you can still see through the blind, more if the light is on in the bathroom and out in the room. Fine if you’re a couple, but if friends come for a pop in before heading out, it’s uncomfortable for the to use the washroom. Also the WiFi was not good. Slow, kept stalling and you had to log in each day."

"The shuttle driver was quick and very helpful even though we got in after midnight. There was no rack to put our luggage on to take it up to our room and no offer of assistance."

"Dusty room. Excellent staff. Paper plates at breakfast. Waffles had just syrup and butter. No strawberries or whipped cream like other hotels. Small rooms. You had to climb over the end of the bed to get on one side of it "

"Easy walk from airport"

"The hotel interior was great, room good. Didn’t have time for the extra amenities but parking good. Close to airport and restaurants"

"Room smelled of smoke. I first got booked into a 1-King room with a reservation for 2-doubles. The front desk staff kindly found me a new room with 2-Queens. Unfortunately the room smelled of smoke and the bathroom was in rough shape without a functional fan. I can’t say I was impressed."
