"This was a decent place to stay but there was no hot water. The staff was great, quickly accommodating our request to store our ice packs in their freezer. The room was clean and the bed comfortable. The inn is on a major highway so it was a bit noisy. "

Vernal is very close to Dinosaur National Monument and Flaming Gorge. I liked the small town atmosphere. Fairly remote; about 3.5 hour drive from Salt Lake City on the border with Colorado.

Vernal was nicest town of friendly and compassionate people I've ever been around. Cute city. Clean streets. Idealistic. Polite. We were in a bind, and everyone wanted to help.

Nice little town, usual strip malls and such but a lot of smaller businesses. But not a destination in its own right, gateway to dinosaur monument which is amazing, and other parks

Quality Inn Vernal near Dinosaur National Monument
10/10 Excellent
"This Quality Inn provided very comfortable, quiet and clean overnight accommodations prior to our full day of exploring Flaming Gorge! The moderate price was a big bonus and on-site steak house was very convenient. Recommend! "
"This was a great place to stay. Not your typical motel. It was very private and quiet. I stayed in the 2 queen bed room. It was welcoming and so clean. The shower was SO clean it looked like brand new. Thick towels that actually were body sized was so nice. The beds were SO comfortable. Definitely more on the softer side. I would 100% stay here again. "
