"This was a quiet and quaint place along the Erie Lake. Don’t look for a gym or spa / sauna, but they did have an outdoor swimming pool. Lots of trees and a great view of the lake"
"For the price, my stay was OK. The comforter on my bed was dirty. There was a dead bug on the floor, and the bathroom was not as tidy as it should be. If you’re looking to save money and you just need somewhere to lay your head down then this would be the place, otherwise I wouldn’t recommend it."
"The property was the correct distance for the day of driving. Area around didn’t have any “good” restaurants. Condition was OK but dated, mattresses were lump and felt well used."
"Beautiful establishment. The manager or owner when we arrived was very sweet, informative, and inviting. It had very nice rooms, cool, comfortable and aesthetically pleasing. Pool area was clean and nice.
Restaurant and seating were beautiful - we enjoyed sitting across the street on the water. Our only complaints were they were out of a couple appetizers and drinks during our dinner.
Since we stayed during the week the outdoor bar was not open - which was communicated ahead of time,...
"Our room was dirty. I don't even think they had even actually cleaned it. The carpets were disgusting and looked like they never vacuumed them. There were hair and debris in our sheets and what looked like a booger smeared on the nightstand. There was toothpaste still visible on the bathroom countertop area that we cleaned up with wipes ourselves. The shower looked dirty and there were black hairs on the floor and hand towels in the bathroom. We complained and were told they were sold out,...
"Beautiful place along Lake Erie. Love that it's in the water. Fun bar next door. Lots of places to walk or benches/swings to sit and enjoy the views. The sunset in the swimming cove was lovely. Nickel Beach down the road was nice ($7 parking) and cleaner than the beach by the hotel. Plenty of places to eat in Sandusky which is 11 minutes away. Typical breakfast, clean room and extremely comfy beds. Worth the stop!"
