Cosy Beachside Cottage

8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (20)
"Clean and comfortable. The wood burner was a treat. Well positioned within walking distance of beaches No.4 and No.5. We messed up with turning the hot water on but soon sorted that when the hot water ran out.😂"

The Pickled Pipi beach house at Gippsland's Venus Bay

9.2 out of 10, Wonderful, (35)
"The Pickled Pipi was a perfect house for our summer getaway. Located in the quiet second Venus bay estate & walking distance to beaches 4 &5. The house had everything we needed during our stay. Plenty of room, comfortable rooms & facilities. Kitchen was fantastically set up & heaps of cooking books to browse. Upstairs, a wonderful library of books & games for the kids. The deck was a perfectly secure area for our fur baby. He loved his twice daily walks. Anderson Inlet was a great exploration...

Old School Beach House

10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (51)
"Loved the property and aesthetics! We thought we would be cold at night in bed with only one doona, but the quality was there and it was all we needed to stay warm. No storage for your clothes in any room at all, but for a weekend away it's not a big deal. The 2 heaters heated up the whole house very quickly and we had hot water in a few hours. Lot's of pantry staples. The outdoor area is just beautiful, we would have loved a fire pit to top it off. It was about a 15 walk-lot's of it uphill to...

Drift Away at Venus Bay

8.0 out of 10, Very Good, (1)
"The property was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, with modern appliances and a fresh feel throughout. It was great having two separate lounge areas and a generously sized dining table – perfect for larger groups. However, some practical issues affected our stay. The single beds were too short for taller adults (6ft), and with only 2 toilets – one being in an ensuite – sharing between 10 people wasn’t ideal. A 3rd toilet would have been a more suitable design. Also, just 1 tea towel for...

Surf Charm - beautiful holiday home is just a few minutes' walk to the beach

2.0 out of 10, (1)
"Pros: Great location Cons: Alex Scott & Staff property managers. Overcharged for the stay considerably. Poor systems in place leading to refunds being sent to an incorrect credit card (a different one to the one they charged to). Poor communication and follow up when issue raised. No one on the team could answer my question about the cost of the property per night. The property is very dirty. Unsafe deck, ok if you you don't lean up against the railing. "
