"Great location, right on the beach. bummed I stayed in the bottom floor room as we couldn't see much with the plexiglass in the way (but I get it) - next time will request a higher floor unit. Very quiet, slept great, and had a quick continental breakfast in the morning."

"Love this spot. Erika at the front desk was helpful and even able to help with an early Check-in We were in #218 with a balcony over the park. Peaceful, clean and well appointed. Comfy bed…. Very authentic mission style furniture with a fireplace as well Good breakdown the patio"

"While the hotel and rooms are exceptional and beautiful, the walls were not proof against the roaring morning traffic on Channel Islands Blvd in the morning. Sleeping in was not a real option, earplugs notwithstanding. Otherwise, the stay was par excellence! And free parking was greatly appreciated."

"The landscaping was spectacular, and the passage to and on the beach were equally impressive. We love the Gulf Stream for coffee and simple breakfast. The pool was easily accessible and was well maintained. The rooms were very spacious, (maybe the decor was slightly dated). Would definitely stay here again; really enjoyed our three day vacation."
