The owners were amazing too - responding really quickly to every query, and doing everything to make sure our stay was perfect. The view from the top bedroom across the mountains is unforgettable. "Great villa with everything you need, pool amazing, beds a little soft than I prefer but personal preference. It is a convenient location although only 1 small issue being that you have to use an unmade road with steep hill and tight turns to get to it... Once there, no problem but would be more tricky with a larger car.. A car is essential as advertised… Would recommend.."

"The communal pool which was opposite the villa had showers and toilts, the pool was huge with comfortable beds around it. Quite a few tiles had come away on the bottom of the pool in rhe shallow end, but apart from that it was a great addition to the holiday. 5 mins drive to the centre of town with 3 good sized public car parks. The villa itself was very cool and comfortable."

"This is a lovely large Villa which was perfect for us as we were 3 families holidaying together. Plenty of outdoor space and the shared pool (although we were the only ones in it) was well kept and a good size for swimming and diving. It's a 10 min walk down a steep hill to the town. Very manageable, but if you struggle then there are plenty of taxis around for a lift back up (7 Euros). Lovely area - very spanish which was great. Almunicar is a 20 min walk along the beach front. "Well what can I say, we have just returned from a week at Finca Almendra staying in Chris & Bob's beautiful adjacent villa to their beautiful home. After a 'teeny tiny bit startling' 3 km winding, multiple hair pin bend part dirt/part concrete road to the villa - without Bob's clear instructions prior to embarking on the journey and his road signs every other bend - confirming that indeed you are on the right track!! - we probably would have turned around. "The property sells itself with the view. The listing photos are 100% accurate but doesn’t do the view justice. It is reverse living (enter on the main floor with all bedrooms downstairs), but the amenities are complete. The outdoor spaces are numerous and very spacious. Getting to the house is a little bit of a project with the narrow switchback roads but we got used to it - no quick trips to the store, plan accordingly when you are in town. "Casa 14 was everything we were looking for . Quiet tranquil location yet not too far from the village for its bars , restaurants and historic centre . The outside ares and pool were beautifully maintained and the villa was really well equipped. We spent a month at Casa 14 but could happily stayed longer. A very tranquil relaxing atmosphere. The owners ,Mathilde and Jim ,were so helpful and always responded quickly to any questions we had. We would definitely return to this gorgeous property ."

"After an initial adventure up the hills to find the villa using the very helpful instructions, we were so happy with property when we arrived. All very spacious, clean, thoughtfully layed out, with all items you would need at a holiday space. Kids loved the pool and eating outside with the spectacular views across the hills to the sea.
