"Spent 11 nights here and it really is a place to relax. Quiet, secluded and private. Fantastic view. Heinz is very friendly and helpful. The house is of a good standard and there is definitely no shortage of televisions. Excursion to Competa for a tapas lunch in the square is recommended. Canillas de Albaida is also worth a visit."

Excellent hôtel

"Hotel fabuleux, le personnel est à nos petits soins et ils est chaleureux et souriant. Nos demnades ont ete faite dans une belle chambre avec vue sur mer. Hôtel de qualité, très beau. Les repas sont variés avec différents themes des pays et de bonnes qualités et variés le buffet. Je recommande cet Hôtel tres bien situé et de qualité sur les prestations et tres propre. Un sejour que nous renouvellerons sûrement et que nous conseillons. Merci à vous un tres bon sejour ."

Perfect location & roof top terrace

"Excellent stay, perfect location in centre of the old town with all the buzz while still being really quiet in the room. Near to various beaches, restaurants, bars, shops, etc. Room was spotlessly clean and the rooms were very new and bright and fresh! Don’t be put off by the name “hostel” this is really just a term for hotel/apartment. Lovely roof top terrace, classy furniture with hot tub but no pool. Overall an excellent place to stay, we will definitely be back here!"

"We weren't sure what to expect with this place being labelled as a "Hostal". This was a great boutique hotel. It exceeded our expectations. The room was large, clean and had a great view. The staff were friendly. The hotel is walkable to everywhere. We will definitely be back!!"

"This small hotel is the best I have stayed for a long time. The staff is incredibly helpful and willing to please you with answers about any concerns or curiosities you have for the town and close areas. The location is perfect. Cleanliness is spotless. The room was ample and the beds very comfortable. Breakfast was delicious with abundant and many cold or hot choices. We regret we could not stay more days and enjoy this gem of a hotel in Almunecar. Excellent!"
