"Considering it's an old hotel it was one of the best I've stayed in spotless clean Room cleaned every day and towels replaced beds made The communial areas are very clean and staff happy and welcoming"

"Food choice was poor as I am a vegan and not much freshly prepared actual meals - so unless you are a fan of plain salads and fruit, you'll be hungry"

"No lifts so if you have heavy bags beware. The rooms are duplex with the upper rooms accessed via a narrow staircase with two turns. If you arrive late the kitchen closes early and the bar closes about 2200hrs, so you may have to go out to eat."

"Guy who runs property has a lovely red Ferrari. Loves to spin around the hotel courtyard at night time, anytime after 9pm until 3.30am and keep residents awake. This happened most nights we were there. Hotel is beautiful but I don’t think I would go back."
