"This property had absolutely everything. We had 11 adults and 12 children. We aged in range from 2 months to 70. The space for cooking, sleeping, relaxing and playing was wonderful. Don't bring beach towels, pool toys, lawn toys or any indoor games because this house has it all. Plenty of life vests for boating unless you have small ones that you prefer in a fitted size to them. Everything in the kitchen you can imagine.We never left the property except for one golf outing for some of the guys.We spent our days in the pool, lake, boating on the pontoon boat, kayaks and paddle board. Lots of patio and porch space. We even got to see a bald eagle while enjoying our morning coffee on the porch.The owners/property managers were extremely quick at responding when we had a question.Check in and check out were very easy.The entire family didn't want to leave and the kids are begging to go back!"

"For being right at the lake the rate is very affordable. We took the kayaks out and walked into the water to cool off after we got back. There is no boat dock but we weren’t planning on renting a boat for the week anyway. We went out for dinner one night at WatersView Restaurant on the north side of the eating ferry bridge. The fried captain’s platter and spicy margarita was great. We also drove to the Palmer Point Park at the Kerr Reservoir. The beach was great. We stopped at lucky’s grill and dairy bar for a burger on the way there. We also drove over to Roanoke Rapids Lake Day Use Area to walk the trail but with the major heat wave decided to cut it short and go to the Riverside Mill antique mall in Weldon. The door code deadbolt wouldn’t open a couple times. If so you have to pull outward on the door knob slightly to relieve the binding and allow the motor to slide the deadbolt open. We had the same issue at our house so I knew what to do"

"We had a great stay. The property is very clean. We enjoyed the hot tub. The cove to the dock is tight but doable. I highly recommend this property."

"The house and property were amazing. The beds and linens were cozy. We felt very at home there. The kitchen, bathrooms and utility room were all more than adequately stocked. We brought groceries and cooked and ate at the house each day & night. We much enjoyed our time there. If you are looking for a place to go and do nothing but relax, sit on the dock, enjoy the hot tub and views, this is your place. If you’re looking for entertainment, fine dining or amenities, this is NOT the location for you. The closest convenience stores, gas station, grocery, etc is 15-20 mins in any direction. It is very secluded. No door dashing dinner here. For us that was great since we were there to rest and relax for our anniversary. If we had brought our kids with us it would not have been as enjoyable since the water wasn’t clean enough to swim at the dock and boat/jet ski rental was quite a distance away & challenging to navigate. Overall it was perfect for my husband and I and we would definitely stay there again. "

"The water access to the main lake was great. Nice dock area to tiie your boat up and plenty of room to move your boat around. Very nice place for a last minute get away trip with fury friends. Water is very clean around the dick."
