"Amazing hotel. Views and beach walk was amazing. Easy drive to vik and beyond. Restaurant was delicious but eclectic. If you want somewhere more casual to eat you have to go into Vik. Sauna was gorgeous and staff was great, highly recommend! "

"A beautiful well equipped cottage in a stunning location. It was clean, easy to get into and the view of the mountains was breathtaking. 4 of us (2 adults and 2 kids) stayed there and it was small but well laid out so we felt like we had a good amount of space. The kitchen had everything we needed and it was nice to have coffee, tea and sugar (many places we stayed at on the trip didn’t so this was great to see). We would certainly stay here again and highly recommend this accommodation."

"Our room was in a small building that reminded me of a Spanish villa. The room was on the second floor and had a view of the mountains. The bathroom was comfortable (shower was a bit small for my over 6 foot husband). Breakfast was very well stocked (prunes were a bit stale). The nearby Hotel Skógá restaurant was convenient. Access to the waterfall and related hikes was easy. A bonus is that we could walk to the Skogar Museum and the nearby forest planted by former students. My only suggestion is to provide guests with a number to call the restaurant ahead of time for reservations. We never had trouble getting a table but I would have reserved a table closer to a window if I had been given an opportunity to easily reserve one."

"This is an easy to access hotel from ring road (route 1). Rooms were good, beds very nice. The property had good views if you take a walk, but the rooms did not. My one comments is this is very much a tour bus hotel. At least 5 busses of people were there when we were. This caused the dining rooms at dinner to be very full and breakfast to be very busy at times. We could not have dinner at property due to the number of bus groups having the buffet dinner and us not making reservations ahead of time, but the breakfast was excellent, it had by far the most fruit of any breakfast we had in Iceland. "
