"Make sure you order taxi well ahead of time especially if you need to get to airport."

"Bellissima camera, vista lago stupenda"

"Great place with friendly staff"

"The hotel was clean & nice, but we have been surprised that the A/C not working for more than a week, we expected any complimentary from the hotel management to cover the A/C problem, but actually there was nothing. The breakfast was nice & the siting in the external terrace was good"

"Our stay at Hotel Ungheria was great! Good room with airco, facilities, great breakfast and excellent helpfull service throughout. A spotless and very well run family hotel. Varese itself is lovely, as well as centrally located, especially if you like to travel by public transport. Milan, Como, Lugano and more are nearby, including Lake Varese (cycle lane around it), Villa Panza and Sacro Monte. Fully recommended."

"The food"

"Nice clean hotel"

There’s a restaurant on site as well. Being right next to the train station is a big plus, but trains are infrequent and there’s no elevator or escalator. And no direct service to the airport or to Milan. There’s not much to see in the town itself but it’s very close to Arona by train (four minutes). From Arona you can get...

"The air-con didn’t work properly and there was noice from the road, at least in the attic room where we stayed. The hotel is clean, room was spacious and had a small fridge."

"Absolutely nothing"

"Everything was good we enjoyed"

"This is are second stay at this property. Room last year was much nicer, so we were very disappointed."
