"I locked my keys in my car the night I checked, on my first day of vacation. Two states away from home and another 6 six hours to drive the next morning. It was a weekend. A HOLIDAY WEEKEND. The young man working the front desk that night truly came to my rescue, called and called until he found a locksmith willing to come out on a Saturday evening, the night after Independence Day. The double-whammy of weekend and holiday weekend almost guaranteed I’d be paying a very high price but somehow, that nice young man went to quite a lot of extra effort to find me a reasonably priced locksmith and directed him to my car when he arrived. I wish I had gotten his name, he really went above and beyond. "

"Its a nice hotel for small town. However, they don’t have elevator and its hard for us old folks to go upstairs using the high stairs.😩"

"We were especially impressed with staff. The breakfast was good and we felt safe and we appreciated the cleanliness of your hotel. The whole place had a very "homey" touch that made us feel immediately comfortable when we arrived. Our room was right by an elevator but that made no difference! Also, we arrived on the 4th of July and were afraid guests may get a little noisy, but that was not the case. We really appreciated getting a good night's sleep after driving a long day, even on a holiday weekend. Thanks again everyone! "

"Very close to Mark Twain Lake. Lots of room for vehicles and boats. Quiet small town. Fuel and groceries right in town. Had plenty of room for our party of 8. Nice big kitchen and dining room for meals. House was nice and clean. Even though older had lots of nice updates, kitchen, bathrooms and such. We will be coming back and recommend to our friends. "

"Very quiet area building looks recently remodeled everything looks updated inside and out very impressive led great decor front desk clerk was very nice and knowledgeable new ownership i was told everything being updated within last year or so "

"This was the perfect spot for our family vacation where we were able to enjoy Mark Twain Lake. The goal was to relax and unplug with our four teenagers ranging 14 to 19 years of age. The cabin was exactly what we expected and fit each of us comfortably. Scott was quick to enhance our stay, and we loved John popping in to check on us. We'd love to come back again!"

"Have stayed here multiple times & love its proximity to Mark Twain Lake. Large fenced in yard for your fury friend, and a local grocery store right next door. Full kitchen, and gas & charcoal grills to coose from. Small park close by & plenty of quiet local streets to take a stroll through the neighborhood. Hosts are easy to get a hold of and very accommodating. "
