"We loved Nin Binh and the Emeralda was our favorite hotel… we took 2 tours that we booked directly through the hotel, and they were awesome! Our guide was Dung, for both days, and he was great. We spent a day in Hoa Lu District, Ninh Binh Province, the old capital of Vietnam between the 10th and 11th century. They described this province as the Ha Long Bay in land, and it actually is! The province is surrounded by mountains and hills. While the scenery reminded me of New Zealand, Ninh Binh still has its unique character that is incomparable.

The only two negatives were there was a mandatory power outage one morning turning off our ac and WiFi and also the shower water pressure was just ok. The beds were comfortable, the food was good. Location is near many of the attractions but outside nihn bihn city center. "

"There is a young man there named DAT. This guy is probably the best I have encountered in Vietnam. The hotel is on a rice field and gave me everything I dreamed of in Ninh Binh. "A lovely hotel only 300m from the main street of the villageTam Coc, but at the middle of a rice plantation. Be sure to get a room with views! Very good breakfast and refreshing beatiful covered pool. A great base to visit this special area: walking distance from Tam Coc boats and a few minutes by taxi or bike to the other attractions. "Wow! What a beautiful homestay tucked away in a private corner of Ninh Binh. The views and hospitable staff were amazing - they truly went above and beyond to make our time at the lotus field wonderful. At night, there were loud karaoke parties nearby that echoed across the cliffs that we weren’t expecting, and most of the bikes were in tough condition, but all and all 10/10 would recommend a stay here! "

The location is perfect, an easy bike ride to all of the major sites in tam coc and trang an. The bikes are provided free of charge. The best place we stayed in Vietnam; couldn’t have asked for better. "

"Beautiful serene accomodation middle of mountains and rice paddies. Can’t be better than this. Bed was very comfortable and quiet. Room had all the amenities required for the stay. Shower was nice and hot. Swimming pool was amazingly clean and big to soak long day at Ninh Binh. Breakfast was so delicious and just enough of options. We accidentally broke the shower gel container at the room and costs 150,000 VND. But the lovely lady at the reception waived it for us. She even spoke to the grab driver to take us to the correct destination and waived us good bye. Such a lovely and warm people who makes us feel very comfortable. Thank you for all your help Moung Village. Highly recommended stay in Ninh Binh."
