"We had an amazing stay right on the water . Rooms are basic but bathrooms renovated . The balcony with water views and the grotto dining area are an extra bonus . Quaint hotel wrapped in history with modernity blended in . Breakfast was good albeit limited . Coffee was 👍👍👍. Great bar and sitting area . "

"Such a lovely place to stay with a courtyard for off-road parking. The Italian owner helpfully spoke good English. He said he also spoke other languages as well. It is right on the edge of the lake and the front rooms have a view over the lake and the back rooms have a delightful view of the mountainside and over look a courtyard with typical Italian buildings. "The hotel is in a fantastic spot — right on the lake and just steps from Como’s Cathedral and historic center. The staff were very friendly and helpful throughout our stay. We had a room with a beautiful lake view, which made the experience even more special. Parking is off-site at a nearby sister hotel, just a short walk away. It’s a bit inconvenient but manageable. The room was clean and comfortable, though starting to feel a bit dated and could use some renovation. Breakfast was included and offered a nice variety — definitely a plus."
