The views from our room were amazing, and the heavens gave us a spectacular lightshow - brilliant stars early, and then a fast-moving thunderstorm later. "WOW, I absolutely loved my stay in this hotel! I travelled alone, but the whole staff made me feel so welcome and relaxed. The two daughters (around my age) were really helpful, regarding practical 'stuff'; and I really appreciated their enthusiasm and support regarding me climbing the Gran Paradiso summit! The breakfast is incredible! Luckily all the hours of walking evened it out calory wise ;). Hotel Herbetet is located in beautiful and very quiet Valnontey, ideal starting point for many...

"The Hotel Cresta et Duc was well placed within 100 meters of the pedestrian shopping and dining in the center of town. The hotel has a garage, which makes parking in crowded Courmayeur very convenient. Excellent breakfast and a superb staff -- very accommodating. "
