"The house was clean and comfortable, but the property and pool is the highlight! It’s a good location if you want to visit Bodega Bay and surrounding little towns or just float in the pool. It was freakishly hot when we were there (for the area) and was over 100 every day, but the AC kept the house very cool. "Everything about this house was truly spectacular. The views were breathtaking, the house was very modern but inviting with every detail thought of. Comfortable family room perfect for our family of 5 adults to watch movies and play games. The kitchen was fully stocked which made it easy to grill/cook meals. We enjoyed the house and pool so much we decided to eat more meals at home than out. We definitely enjoyed every moment of our stay and hope to return some day!! "

"Three generations of our family gathered here for 4 fabulous days. We relaxed and played in the pool/hot tub, watched movies in the theatre, took advantage of the nearby restaurants and spent a fun afternoon at Safari West. The house has a wonderful, airy layout with lots of cool spaces to hang out together or alone. Host went above and beyond to make sure we enjoyed an stress-free time. Highly recommend!!"

"We had an amazing time. The house and property are even better than in the pictures. It’s especially great for kids - there are blackout shutters in out of 4 rooms, and there is a walk in closet that makes for a perfect baby room if needed. Communication with Peter was very easy throughout."

"This house surpassed all expectations! We stayed there for a girls weekend (50+ year old women) and it was perfect! Pictures accurately represent everything, so there were no surprises. Ellen and team are super responsive and answered every single question we had very quickly! As other reviews mention, the kitchen is insanely well stocked, which is so nice in a VRBO! "Rivendell had great location on the river. The dock and kayaks were a highlight. The home was clean and the kitchen was well appointed with everything you could need. High quality appliances. We had an issue with the TV and the property managers were very helpful in getting it resolved. Screen doors to the patio would be appreciated to allow for a breeze to circulate the house as it’s quite warm in the afternoon. A very relaxing and comfortable home to spend time with family on the river :-)"
