"This was a great hotel - excellent location and fabulous staff! We got in about 530 and the restaurant we wanted to go to for dinner showed no availability online. Christine at the front desk called them and they were able to accommodate us, and dinner was fabulous! We were leaving at 445am to catch a flight and they prepared sandwiches for us since we did not have time for breakfast. The location is ideal, close to everything and also a very pretty part of the city. "

"Great hotel in great location for exploring Alesund on foot. Limited hotel parking, but there's a parking garage nearby (about £20 per day). Good breakfast, but some hot items are in short supply at times. In the evening, the restaurant meals are good, although the menu is a big limited."

"Great location and superb views from our room and the dining room. Lots of information about the island available in English in the room, the library and the host on check in. Good breakfast. No evening meal available as the chef had run away to sea which meant a twenty mile round trip to eat in the evening. There was also an issue with the front door key not working properly "

"Although the check-in process was not as expected (we met someone on the corner street after calling being unable to find the location) our appartment was extremely lovely, clean and overall perfect. Felt like we underpaid for what was delivered compared to more expensive options in the city and other stops on our trip. "
