"Extremely good value stay. The pool was great, the room size impressive, and the staff consistently helpful and kind, even while juggling multiple roles.Refurbishment and cleaning need more attention. There was no chef in the bar so no hot food available, and breakfast was very basic with limited choice. Plug access near the beds could also be improved."

"Great hotel, nice comfortable room. Pleasant staff. Food was OK with a decent choice. Like most village hotels there is only one lift and it was out of order on this visit so everyone had to lug their cases up the stairs which is not ideal!"

"Lovely four poster room nicely decorated. Tea tray with biscuits. Bath with over shower nice toiletries. We had a two course meal included in our package and it was delicious. Good choice well presented. Breakfast made fresh which was excellent. Good choices available. All staff friendly and helpful. Free parking and only a short drive into Stone."

"We had a wonderful 4 night stay as a family of 4. Breakfast was great, but would say the staff needs to check the coffee machine and Nutella to make sure they are refilled timely. The room was clean and spacious and our room had Air Con and was working great! Housekeeping did a great job keeping our room tidy. The hotel is in a great location, and within walking distances to the retail parks. As it was August when we stayed, they had weddings on and parking can be difficult. Thank you for the check in cookies!"

"Lovely lady receptionist upgraded us to a superior double which was spacious with a large bed and great view of the church opposite, Ben, the duty manager was very efficient with the breakfasts. He got me extra tea as requested and did a lovely takeaway bag of sausage and bacon sandwich so my husband could eat later. Great staff, stylish rustic hotel. A perfect stay!"

"Really enjoyed my stay at Bank House, the room appeared freshly redecorated and modernised. Very comfy large bed and most importantly dog friendly. Stayed for an event at Uttoxeter Racecourse which was 5 minutes down the road. Would 100% stay again. Unfortunately I had to leave very early every morning so I didnt get the opportunity to try breakfast. Also meant I had no way of checking out so I handed my key in to someone I assumed was a member of staff I assume was there to clean early in the morning."
