"Weekend staff were amazing. On Monday the chef was extremely rude and condescending when was told that the coffee machine had run out of coffee and when was requested for a fried egg. She literally snapped at my son when he asked for a fried egg. Not impressed at all! Otherwise this hotel deserves a 5 star rating all over "

"Really enjoyed our 2-night stay here. The location is excellent giving easy access to Clifton, the city centre, and the harbourside. The hotel was very clean, well-maintained, and full of character. "Fabulous room nice and clean tidy, beautiful bathroom and the bed was so comfy it felt like sleeping on clouds! Towels provided are nice and large and enough provided. The staff are so friendly and welcoming always had a smile on their face, always said hello. Check-in was so easy and checkout also. The atmosphere in the evening at the hotel bar was fabulous and again staff are so friendly and attentive. Definitely will be staying again Thank you. "

"This hotel is perfect for a visit to Cardiff. It’s very central and next to the train and bus stations. Check in very easy and the staff were welcoming. Room is adequate for a city break..has everything you need. The rooms were quiet which meant a lovely nights sleep. Would recommend this hotel."

"Great hotel, excellent location, about 5/6 mins to the waterfront bars, 10 mins to main shopping area, lots of bars, restaurants & cafes within 5 mins. St Nicholas markets 3/4 mins. Rooms nice and cool. "

"We stopped over for one night with our two kids and our dog. The staff could not have been more friendly, and they were very helpful in giving us advice about places and events to check out in Bristol. Our room was clean and comfortable. We were glad we had booked one of the rooms with air conditioning as it was a warm night: we had cool air in the bedroom, and thanks to underfloor heating our feet were still nice and warm on the tile floor in the bathroom. We were impressed with how dog friendly the hotel was, with water bowl by the front door and treats on the reception desk. Breakfast was very good and reasonably priced. Overall, a relaxing and enjoyable time and great value for money. We will be staying again!"
