"Nous avons décidé choisir la Villa Merkel comme lieu de réception pour notre mariage car nous avions eu l’opportunité de loger avec nous invités et profiter pas seulement d’une journée de fête, sinon d’un week-end complet. En arrivant, Natacha nous avait bien accueilli avec toutes les précisions nécessaires, à l’écoute et disponible à tout moment. "The house provides great outdoor areas for chilling and eating. However, the inside is not great at all. There is one Bedroom that is outstanding with a nice bathroom and a view from the bed of the lake. However, all the guests will have a very different experience. The 2nd floor is very low, I kept hitting my head in the bedroom or in the bathroom. There is only 5 bedrooms so I am not sure where the advertized 14 people stay comes from. I would rent again but not at the same price."

"The five of us thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the villa....the amenities were all as described, and the owner Julie was delightful. It certainly felt like home from home, and once we had mastered the hob and cooker we were away. We would certainly recommend the villa, the only downside was getting into the garage as with such a big car it was very tight, but after a few days we mastered that too. We all would certainly return, and fingers crossed if the golfing event is in Biarritz again next...
