"Had a lovely 3 night stay in the wellness panorama room. I requested a canal view and was also able to check in early which was so convenient!!! Location a bit out of the centre about a 35/40 min walk BUT you can get a tram into central station which is a 5 min walk away and only 3 stops on the tram. And there’s other trams local to other areas. Would book again and highly recommend to friends & family :) "

"This hotel was so cute! It appeared to have been pretty-recently updated and was much larger than I had imagined. They have a filtered water station for filling your water bottles which I thought was a nice albeit small perk. It was also in the perfect location, right along the canal on one side and just off Rembrandt Square on the other. So much within stumbling distance. "

"Didn't really know what to expect when booking a "cabin" in Amsterdam. As it turned out it was a great choice. The cabin is effectively a large capsule. Just enough room for a double bed coat hooks and a shelf. There's a small safe as well. The shared toilets and showers (2 of each between 6 cabins) were clean and tidy. The cabin itself was pleasant in a sort of premium IKEA way. It depends on the occupants of the other 5 cabins I guess but I found my 2 nights very quiet and comfortable. The common areas are premium, comfortable and cool - a gathering spot suitable and welcoming for all ages and sexes. Volkshotel is also really easy to get to from Centraal, just a short ride on the Metro. I'm definitely sold and will book again they next time I visit Amsterdam."

"Great place with friendly staff, quirky decor. A bit away from the city centre but conveniently walkable from the metro. I was grateful for the quiet atmosphere that is hard to find in hostels. Pods were clean and spacious. The locker was very secure and well accessible under the bed - though the bathrooms needed a bit more attention, especially in the mornings as lots of people use it all at once. Overall, nothing to complain about. The food and coffee at the restaurant was pretty great. Recommend this place!"

"Great location right beside the Central station in the centre of Amsterdam. The rooms are very small but comfortable and quiet even though the hotel is beside the train station. The room was clean and made up every day. The check in process was quick and easy. I would definitely recommend this hotel for a short stay at a reasonable price. "

"The hotel was wonderful and the staff was very nice. It had a very modern, chill vibe. My partner were offered drinks when we arrived and they took our luggage in for us. I love Amsterdam and will definitely stay here whenever I visit."
