"Great hotel in Grindelwald. The staff was very friendly and the complimentary breakfast was very good. We had a fantastic view of the Eiger and Monch mountains that captivated us. I suggest requesting a room with a view of these mountains as opposed to the other side that looks towards Mount First. That side isn't bad, but the view towards Eiger and Monch is fantastic. The mountains feel close enough to touch. It's a 15 to 20 minute walk to the main train station, but there are also buses...

"The location is closed to the main cable car station, just 3 mins walk. Very clean and comfortable. The design of the shower room is not very good, I have to put my clothes and towel outside the shower room otherwise all will get wet. I suggest the shower room should install a space for towel. The ski locker area is convenient but there is little bit dark and also the ski room is not as good as the signinahotel’s ski room. The price is little bit expensive because there no service and facility...

"We picked this hotel as we were driving through the Alps returning to Munich from Zermatt. It was a one night stay and unfortunately we did not know that the day of our check out was the day they close for a break before the winter season. "Absolute fantastic for families with young kids (up to 10). You get spacious apartment with great mattress, with well equipped kitchen, with dish soap, salt/pepper, dishwasher and its detergent. Ours was also wheelchair friendly which made it especially convenient with a stroller (and a baby). There was just one catch in our experience: room service wasn't available over the weekend. We spent 4 nights and we realized it on Friday night (weekend spent in a bit messy room). It wasn't mentioned...

"Just opposite to the train station, the lodge provided self checkin services, you can easily get the key and relax in the lodge. The ground floor provide hot water and a snack machine which is very convenient. The room and toilet was very clean and we felt very comfortable staying there."
