"You must meet your host for the key, however he does not speak much English so that was a challenge. Be sure to email and call a few days in advance of your arrival to ensure that you can get a hold of someone if you need to communicate in English. Having a washer was great, but clothes must air dry in the lower level. Plan to wash in the evening and hang dry overnight and you'll have guaranteed dried clothes. "This is a lovely chalet on a quiet hillside above the busy town of Grindelwald. The views from the house are stunning and we enjoyed the outdoor eating areas. Great kitchen with excellent equipment including fondue pots and raclette maker. Beds were comfortable. My only complaint is that the towels provided were flimsy and inadequate, 2 little towels per person. There should be a stack of extra towels provided along with some washcloths."

"Die Kommunikation im Voraus mit den Eigentümern der Hütte war total unkompliziert. Die Anreise im Dunkeln im Nebel & Schnee vom Ort zur Hütte hoch war ein kleines Abenteuer, aber gut machbar. Die Hütte ist perfekt ausgestattet. Wir haben nichts vermisst. In der Küche sind Spüli, Geschirrhandtücher, Spülmaschinen-Tabs, Gewürze etc. vorhanden. Wir hatten aber alles selbst dabei. "Beautiful home with spectacular views. The home is equipped with anything you need to prepare meals and enjoy your stay. Clean and comfortable. We enjoyed our week here. Centrally located to fantastic hiking and something to do for everybody. A week was not enough to discover it all."

"We loved the house and the lake was just a few feet away! Incredible views, comfortable rooms, an amenable host. Our one suggestion is that the host provide towels for their guest. Even if it is an extra fee, the convenience is worth it. I read that we had to bring towels, so I had a couple, but it certainly bulked up my packing. Otherwise, the property was perfect!"
