"Aside an earthquake the hotel can't control, was a great stay! Weirdly had a lukewarm shower morning after said quake, but following day was fine. Excellent, central location with easy parking though also walkable to most main attractions in New Plymouth central."

"Waaaaay better than listed, what a beautiful property. The gardens, the pond, the animals, just amazing. And Chris, what a legend you were mate, super hospitable with yarns for days. If there’s an award for’Host of the year’, they better have this man in the running. Last but certainly not least, our little mate Chloe. Kids loved her!!! 5 stars, splendid property at a price so unbelievable you’d think it was a typo. Thanks guys, would definitely recommend you to anyone heading to Taranaki"

"Arrived at 2.35 a bit disappointed by a rather run down outside glass balcony covered in bird droppings ,garden unkempt but once inside delighted by the space the bedrooms the huge kitchen living area but the magic was the incredible sea views. As I am not well I spent two days just enjoying the house whilst the others went exploring . Although there were 6 young men in the apartment under us there was no noise.The big minus was the hob took 20 mins to cook scrambled eggs oven I turned off as it made a strange noise. A new cooker needed I think."
