"In the heart of Lyons-la-Forêt, a very beautiful building with La Licorne Royale Restaurant just downstairs. Staff, although, does not seem to know what is going on as they gave me a different room from what I paid and they told me that the room that I have booked would only be available in 1h time from the check in time that is 4pm!! "A great location for an overnight stay on our way back to get the ferry. The hotel is located right on the seafront and had amazing views in a very quiet part of the town. The front desk staff were extremely helpful and the room was spacious and immaculately clean. "

"Very authentic. Lots of decor and history. Didn't take the breakfast but the nice lady made me a cup of coffee which I enjoyed while watching the mist on the river with the fish jumping in the early hours of the morning."

"We spent one night on return trip to Calais. Travelled as a couple with a child and small dog in a triple/family room. Basic room, all ok, great breakfast included, allowed is to have the dog with us in the conservatory/dining area which meant we could eat as a family which was great. Would stop again 👍"
