Halifax Marriott Harbourfront Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"It was nice to step out the door and be right on the boardwalk. Everyone was friendly and helpful. The room was large and well equipped... loved having a sofa as well as an office chair. The only down side was room service... the food was great, but it was packed like take out and I did not enjoy eating out of a box."
"The Moxy was a great hotel choice for our stay in Halifax. The amenities were clean. Service was wonderful. It is a bit far from the waterfront area if someone is elderly but it is definitely walkable or a short 5 min Uber drive. Free coffee and tea daily was a nice touch. We loved the stash closet with extra towels, facecloths, toothpaste, etc. There is a nice patio you can relax on after a long day of sightseeing. Would definitely recommend! "
"Dalhousie summer accommodations were great. Very clean rooms and bathrooms. The dorms were quiet at night. The staff were friendly and addressed any concerns in a timely manner. The food was adequate. Good variety. Overall it was okay and a great price for a short stay in central Halifax."
"This hotel is a fantastic choice for a Halifax stay, perfectly situated right on the boardwalk amidst numerous shops and restaurants. It's exceptionally clean, and the top-floor lookout offers stunning harbor and boardwalk views, ideal for morning coffee or evening drinks.
Our "king with balcony" room was comfortable, but be aware that the balcony is a semi-private shared terrace. You'll likely want to keep the blackout curtains closed for privacy due to visibility into the room from other areas."
