"The hotel was very beautiful and close to Universal studios which was our primary reason for the stay. The only reason why I gave it 4 stars was due to the fact that the pool wasn't heated as advertised. And if it was heated we couldn't tell. Overall the property was well maintained, updated, and the shuttle was very fast and efficient to the theme park."

"1st time staying at this hotel and we would definitely go back, it is an older hotel that could use a face lift but other than that it was great, the rooms were spacious and clean, had a microwave and a fridge which are big bonuses, quite convenient location, we chose it so we could walk to Universal Studios, less than a 20min walk, the bonus was having convenience stores, restaurants etc right across the street. Extra bonus was the pillows were actually really fluffy and comfortable, the bed was also pretty comfortable as well. So why not a 5* ? The pool was a tiny indoor ice cold box, so if you're just needing a quite place to stay that also offers free coffee, tea and juice 24/7 ( another nice perk) than this hotel being a bit out dated will suit you just fine. Would definitely stay here again when traveling for Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Studios. Staff was also very friendly.."

The Hollywood Franklin Hotel near Universal Studios

"We loved our stay at the Hollywood Franklin. Great location, within walking distance of the walk of fame. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. It had the old Hollywood vibe, but was clean and tidy, and so quaint. It felt like an oasis in the middle of the city. The diner on site was awesome too. We will definitely be back!"
